GÜNEY AFRİKA MİLLİ GÜNÜ’NDE DANSLI KUTLAMA

Güney Afrika Ulusal Özgürlük Günü ve Miras Günü, Divan Otel’de düzenlenen resepsiyonla kutlandı. Gecede Güney Afrikalı dans ve müzik grubu, performanslarıyla resepsiyona renk kattı.

Resepsiyonun ev sahipliğini Güney Afrika’nın Ankara Büyükelçisi Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba üstlendi. Geceye Dışişleri Bakan Yardımcısı Mehmet Kemal Bozay’ın yanı sıra çok sayıda yabancı misyon temsilcisi ve davetliler katıldı. Büyükelçi Duba, gecede yaptığı konuşmada Türkiye ve Güney Afrika arasındaki ilişkilere vurgu yaparak, “Güney Afrikalılar ve Türk halkı, zengin kültürleri ve tarihlerine duydukları saygı nedeniyle ön plana çıkıyor. Bu bakımdan bugün, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin 100. yılında Türkiye’de hem tarihimizi hem de mirasımızı kutluyor olmanın ayrıcalığını yaşıyoruz” dedi. Güney Afrikalıların ilk kez 1994 yılında oy verdiklerini belirten Büyükelçi Duba, “Güney Afrikalılar, Afrika halkının ve kıtasının özgürleşmesi ve takdire şayan idealleri uyum içinde ilerletmek için çeşitliliğe sahip ve birleşmiş insan ırkının yaşadığı bir dünyayı seçtiler” diye konuştu. Bakan Yardımcısı Mehmet Kemal Bozay da, 6 Şubat depremlerinde Güney Afrika’nın büyük bir dayanışma örneği gösterdiğini ifade ederek, iki ülkenin birçok alanda dost ve müttefik olduğunu söyledi.

Gecede Güney Afrikalı dans ve müzik grubu, performanslarıyla büyük beğeni kazandı. Grup, caz, pop, Latin gibi farklı türlerdeki şarkıları ve danslarıyla resepsiyona renk kattı.
CELEBRATION WITH DANCE ON SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL DAY
South Africa’s National Freedom Day and Heritage Day were celebrated with a reception held at the Divan Hotel. During the evening, a South African dance and music group added color to the reception with their performances.

The reception was hosted by South Africa’s Ambassador to Ankara, Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba. Turkiye’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mehmet Kemal Bozay, as well as many foreign mission representatives and guests attended the night.Ambassador Duba, in her speech during the evening, emphasized the relationship between Turkiye and South Africa, stating, “South Africans and the Turkish people stand out due to their rich cultures and respect for their histories. In this regard, today, we are privileged to celebrate both our history and heritage in Turkiye, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkiye.” Ambassador Duba highlighted that South Africans voted for the first time in 1994, saying, “South Africans chose a world where diverse and united human races coexist to advance the liberation of Africa and its people and to promote admirable ideals in harmony.” Deputy Minister Mehmet Kemal Bozay expressed that South Africa demonstrated significant solidarity during the earthquakes on February 6, stating that the two countries are friends and allies in many fields.

The South African dance and music group received great acclaim with their performances during the evening. The group added vibrancy to the reception with their diverse repertoire of songs and dances, ranging from jazz, pop, to Latin styles.
