İngiltere Büyükelçiliği’nde geleneksel olarak düzenlenen yılbaşı fuarı Başkent’in tanınan isimlerini bir araya getirdi. Elçilik içine ve bahçesine stantların kurulduğu fuardan elde edilen gelir, İngiltere Büyükelçiliği Sosyal Komitesi’nin yapacağı yardım ve sosyal etkinliklerde kullanılacak.

Fuarda kurulan 45 stantta, hediyelik eşyadan yiyecek ürünlerine ve süslemeye kadar pek çok ürün satışa sunuldu. Gün boyu süren yılbaşı fuarına yaklaşık 1500 kişi katıldı. Ankara’da yaşayan yabancı misyon görevlileri ve farklı ülkenin vatandaşları ile sosyal hayatın önde gelen isimleri, fuarı ziyaret etti. İngiltere Büyükelçisi Jill Morris de, fuarı ziyaret ederek stantları gezdi. Fuardan elde edilen gelir, Elçilik Sosyal Komitesinin yapacağı yardım ve sosyal etkinliklerde kullanılacak.

The New Year’s Fair was attended by 1500 people.

The New Year’s fair traditionally held at the British Embassy brought together prominent figures of the capital. The revenue generated from the fair, where stands were set up inside the embassy and in the garden, will be used for aid and social activities by the British Embassy Social Committee.

At the fair, which featured 45 stands offering a wide range of products from souvenirs to food items and decorations, approximately 1500 people attended throughout the day. Foreign mission personnel residing in Ankara, citizens of different countries, and leading figures of social life visited the fair. British Ambassador Jill Morris also visited the fair and toured the stands. The revenue from the fair will be used for aid and social activities by the Embassy Social Committee.
