Hollanda’da yaşayan Türk asıllı piyanist ve solist Karsu Dönmez konser vermek için Ankara’ya geldi.

Konserden önce, Hollanda’nın Ankara Büyükelçisi Jan-Paul Dirkse’nin konuğu olan genç müzisyen Karsu Dönmez için elçilik rezidansında bir resepsiyon düzenlendi. Carnegie Hall’de iki kez performans sergileme başarısı gösteren Dönmez onuruna verilen resepsiyona, Büyükelçi Dirkse’nin çoğunluğu diplomatlardan oluşan konukları katıldı. Sesiyle dünyaca ünlü sanatçı Norah Jones’i anımsatan Karsu, rezidansta kısa bir performans sergiledi. Piyano çalıp şarkı söyleyen Karsu’ya, Orwille Breeveld gitarıyla, Catalin Milea da saksafonla eşlik etti. Dönmez, sihirli parmakları ve muhteşem sesiyle konukları büyüledi.

Turkish-born pianist and vocalist Karsu Dönmez, who lives in the Netherlands, came to Ankara to give a concert.

Before the concert, a reception was held at the residence of the Dutch Ambassador to Ankara, Jan-Paul Dirkse, in honor of the young musician Karsu Dönmez. The reception, held in honor of Dönmez—who has successfully performed twice at Carnegie Hall—was attended by Ambassador Dirkse’s guests, mostly diplomats. Karsu, whose voice is reminiscent of the world-renowned artist Norah Jones, gave a brief performance at the residence. Accompanied by Orwille Breeveld on guitar and Catalin Milea on saxophone, Karsu dazzled the guests with her magical fingers and magnificent voice.
